Resources for Nativating The Cyber Security Landscape

April 7, 2022

One of the statistics from the survey report that stuck out to me from our firm’s Cyber Perception Survey was that 29% percent of respondents listed financial leaders as “primary decision-makers on cyber risk management for their organization”. (source: Marsh McLennan Agency Cyber Perception Survey report, December, 2021) I don’t have to tell you, that the responsibilities and expectations for financial leaders seem to be expanding exponentially.

Moreover, I think that adds to the challenge if you’re trying to navigate something as quickly changing as the cyber landscape. So today, I wanted to give you access to a few resources that can shed some light. As you peruse the resources, I welcome the opportunity to talk with you about your greatest concerns and questions you have in these areas.

  • The Global Risks Report for 2022, published by the World Economic Forum in collaboration with Marsh McLennan. Drawing upon insights from over 950 experts and decision-makers worldwide, the 17th edition of the report unpacks some of the critical global tensions that may complicate the coordination needed to tackle common challenges that include enhancing digital safety. While the full report shares deep perspectives, the third chapter, “Protecting Digital Developments” focuses on the topic at hand.
  • Marsh McLennan’s Cyber Resilience Insights compiles top insights from thought leaders across the Marsh McLennan family.
  • Marsh McLennan Agency blog, “When it comes to cyber security, make sure you know where your organization stands” with included resources such as our “10 Security Controls” developed in partnership with Arete Advisors to summarize a top-ten list of cyber security hygiene recommendations and our Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) whitepaper.
